Docker's Moby, OpenShift, and Forrester Webinar

This month our Container & DevSecOps Digest features stories from DockerCon Austin,  which was the biggest Docker event to date with over 5,000 attendees. At RedHat we heard about a new service called OpenShift.io, an online development environment dedicated to containers only; and in Australia container adoption is steadily increasing so for the very first time, a conference dedicated to container technology will take plance in Sydney (and we even have a special price for you!).  Additionally, we are hosting a live webinar featuring Forrester on May 24, and we hope to see you there!

New Forrester Report: Ten Basic Steps To Secure Software Containers.

Forrester container security thumb.png

This comprehensive yet easy-to-digest report is a great primer on container security.

"
Containers Are Not Just Small Virtual Machines; They Need New Security Strategies. At first glance, containers may appear to behave just like small virtual machines; they do not. Containers are snippets of code that use a shared kernel and run independently of one another. They demand distinct new security efforts."

Forrester, "Ten Basic Steps To Secure Software Containers", April 17, 2017, by Amy DeMartine, Dave Bartoletti with Christopher McClean , Andras Cser ,Trevor Lyness ,Peggy Dostie.
